Boston Red Sox (-117) @ Minnesota Twins:
Tim Wakefield is always ready to throw a lot of pitches and fool a team full of young hitters. In Minnesota, the Red Sox will use those two things on way to beating the Twins. At 3-1 with a 3.33 ERA, Wakefield fought through a slow start by the Red Sox lineup and helped the team stay close to the top in the AL East. Now that the hitters are figuring it out, I’m sure he’ll have a nice time of it in Minnesota. The Red Sox hitters know how to make young pitchers throw a lot of pitches early, so expect Blackburn to barely get halfway through this game. On Saturday, the Sox put up 5 to even the series. Baseball is all about winning series, so expect the best team to pull a quick one on Sunday Night Baseball.
