As I said earlier, I ranked Kansas ahead of both Memphis and UCLA, but that doesn’t mean they have the advantage over the Tigers in a head to head match-up. Quite the contrary, actually, as Memphis has enough athleticism to mix it up with Kansas.
While 4 #1 Seeds have advanced to the Final Four, there is no doubt in my mind that these two are the best of the bunch. Kansas, in my opinion, deserves the nod in this one, as they have the size, quickness, depth, and athleticism that finally will give Carolina a taste of their own medicine.

At this point UConn and UCLA were supposed to be fighting it out for the rights to play the winner of Xavier and NCAA powerhouse, Duke. Well, this is the glory of the NCAA Tournament. As is, Duke was ousted by a tough West Virginia team, which will try to continue their late season success against a solid Xavier team.
Carolina reigns supreme thus far, but an easy road to the Sweet 16 doesn’t always mean a trouble free second weekend. There to do their best to dismantle the Tar Heels? A seasoned Washington State club that can light up a scoreboard with the best of them.
