As I said earlier, I ranked Kansas ahead of both Memphis and UCLA, but that doesn’t mean they have the advantage over the Tigers in a head to head match-up. Quite the contrary, actually, as Memphis has enough athleticism to mix it up with Kansas.
While 4 #1 Seeds have advanced to the Final Four, there is no doubt in my mind that these two are the best of the bunch. Kansas, in my opinion, deserves the nod in this one, as they have the size, quickness, depth, and athleticism that finally will give Carolina a taste of their own medicine.
I personally think these are the lesser of the two 1-seeds, but both have a great chance to take home the hardware on Monday. These four teams have been the class of the league throughout the year, and just because
My top overall team, Kansas, as well as the most underrated team in the Nation, Wiconsin - will do their best to do away with a possible 10 seed - 12 seed/ Wildcat - Wildcat match-up. Here’s to hoping both fail miserably.
The two strongest teams are holding strong, and if it weren’t for a final five-minute collapse, the Longhorns could be considered one of the most dominant teams in this tournament so far. As is, there are three teams that could
At this point UConn and UCLA were supposed to be fighting it out for the rights to play the winner of Xavier and NCAA powerhouse, Duke. Well, this is the glory of the NCAA Tournament. As is, Duke was ousted by a tough West Virginia team, which will try to continue their late season success against a solid Xavier team.
Carolina reigns supreme thus far, but an easy road to the Sweet 16 doesn’t always mean a trouble free second weekend. There to do their best to dismantle the Tar Heels? A seasoned Washington State club that can light up a scoreboard with the best of them.
In the Dance? You bet. I’m going, but for now, let us take a look at the bracket I will be attending. The west has some of the scariest teams and some of the most overrated teams in the tournament.
I love the South. Memphis and Texas are both close to home, and despite hopes of some upsets along the way, I fully expect both of those powerhouses to etch their names in all their Elite Eight glory.
As you well know, I’m a numbers guy. This bracket is full of numbers, like #1, Kansas, and #2 Georgetown. It may be by the book, but I see both advancing a long ways in this one. Elite talent from one, great defense and post play from another.
I can’t believe the tumultuous path the Carolina Tar Heels will have to travel to get to the Final Four. For a #1 overall seed, like Carolina is, it seems ridiculous that they’d have to play a team like Indiana or Arkansas in the Round of 32, Notre Dame or Washington State in 16…
In a Conference that seems like a lock for 7 surefire Big Dance clubs, you can bet there will be some fireworks on display at the Garden. Georgetown is the cream of the crop here, if only because…
This is my preview of the ACC tournament, a group that boasts two of the top 5 teams in the Nation, and the biggest rivalry in all of sport.
This is my preview for the Big 12 Conference tournament. This Conference is full of talent, top to bottom, and there will definitely be some tickets to the Big Dance decided each day of this tournament. With high profile players…
