I have to admit, this whole BCS National Championship thing is getting a little ridiculous. We have an Ohio State team that mediocred their way through a rather weak Big 10 and an LSU team that collected two losses during the season, and just barely skipped by a number of teams. Those are the two squads fighting it out in the last college football game of the season, both ready to be named National Champs! It should be a hell of a game, but I’d feel a lot better about naming a National Champion if this was the last game of a short playoff series. Oh well, this is what we got, cherish it, there’s almost 8 months until the next game!
There’s a National Championship next week, but before that, you’re bound to stumble across some great college football games. These are my top two of the coming week, with the rest of the games and times listed below. Good luck to ya!
In my best 2 games of last week, there were two great games. The Bearcats came from behind to down the Golden Eagles by 10, but Bearcats backers lost that bet by a point from most books. The Midshipmen down late, but a last minute score made Navy backers smile as they lost by just a field goal to the Utes. This week, the games get a little more impressive as more ranked teams step onto the field. Here are my top two games for the upcoming week. The Sun Devils and Longhorns match up in the first battle of ranked teams during the bowl season. In my 2nd game, the Deacons and Huskies match-up as two of the most underrated teams in their respective conferences. These should be great games.
The madness starts on Thursday, but that’s not the only game of the weekend. There’s 6 games on the schedule from Thursday Night in San Diego to Sunday Night in Hawaii. I’ve highlighted two of my best games in this article, and listed the other 4 bowl games during the week as well. Enjoy lots of football in the next month, there’s no better time of the year.
It’s BCS Nightmare time, and these two games could throw yet another wrench in one of the stupidest post season situations in all of sports. Bowl games… How ridiculous can it get? Anyway, I’m hoping for more huge upsets, or even better yet, more deserving teams to win so that the less deserving teams look even worse if they get the nod. How can college football embrace a system that makes it so some teams can’t win a championship even if they never lose a game? This could very well be the only sport you can win them all and not win in the end. Change, lets do it. Either way, the last week of College Football’s pre-bowl game season is now!
We’re getting right down to it, and while no game is bigger than Kansas hosting Missouri, you can bet an LSU upset would do a lot for the chances of many a team – these are my College Football Games of the Week.
Week 12 has more than a couple huge games, like my first game of the week, Michigan and Ohio State in Michigan. It also has some laughers, though, which brings me to my 2nd Game of the Week. That, my kind hearted readers, is for you to read, and hopefully watch, as history could be made on this cold Saturday in mid-November.
Well November is here, and as many a guru likes to say, “This is where the wins and losses matter most.” Sure, in College Football a loss can mean your National Championship dreams are over, but a few late wins can take you from a Bowl in December to a million dollar match-up in January. This is a huge week for the following teams, and these games should be dandies because of it.
Any more big upsets? I dont know about big, but their could be a few less undefeated teams after Week 10 crazy Week 10 expect some interesting happenings on the underdog front.
We had a big game on Thursday Night, but there are some huge games this weekend Which ones am I talking about, read below and watch on your TV.
Watch out! We have a full set of filthy games to ooh ah and wow over this Weekend. Were starting with one hell of a game this Thursday, but Im strictly looking at the weekend here. Thursday games are always scary, because you never know whos ready for a short week and whos still thinking about last weeks big win. Keep your eyes glued here, these are the Best of Week 8 in the NCAAs.
This weeks top games feature two 5-1 teams playing host to two undefeated squads. After their first loss of the season last week in South Carolina, the Kentucky Wildcats host the Nations #1 team; the LSU Tigers. In Big 12 play, the #5 Okalahoma Sooners host the undefeated Missouri Tigers in a game that will make or break each teams push for a National Championship bid. It should be one hell of a week in College Football, but which week hasnt been crazy? Will it be the undefeated teams causing havoc, or will the undefeateds take yet another hit?
Last week the Illini skipped past the Penn State Nittany Lions and won a spot in Week 6s Games of the Week. On the other hand, the Oklahoma Sooners choked away their chance at an undefeated season by losing to the Buffaloes in Colorado. Yet, they still find a spot in this Weeks Best Games. Check them out below - numbers and all.
