A-ROD is A-JOKE right now
I don’t know if it’s because of the way the planets align or whatever, but October has to be the worst month year-in-year-out for Alex Rodriguez. His batting averages the past three post seasons are .133 in ’05, .071 in ’06, and .267 this year against the Indians. Then he and
his obnoxious agent Scott Boras do the unthinkable during game 4 of the World Series: Announce he is opting out of this contract with the Yanks.
Yes, A-ROD has every right to leave the Yankees, that’s the beauty of having a player option in your contract. But why did he have to do it then? Because he and Boras
are attention-getting mongers who seem to have
little, if any respect for the game of baseball. It’s pretty evident that big market team such as the Mets, Cubs, or one of the L.A. franchises will shell out the $30 million/year for his services.
I know the Red Sox are also in discussions when it comes to the
hugely talented slugger. However, they will be much better off resigning World Series MVP Mike Lowell, who would be much cheaper, not to mention much less of a distraction. Did I mention that Lowell was
World Series MVP?
Hey A-ROD: November begins this week!
