NFL Trade Deadline Needs to Get Dealt
I love pretty much everything new commish Roger Goddell has done for the game. Unlike other commissioners like the NBA’s David Stern, he isn’t allowing for social deviants to roam in his league. Now, he needs to turn his attention to moving the trade deadline to at least past the 10th or 11th week of the season.
The NFL will always truly be
America’s game because just about any team can go from 5-11 one season to 11-5 the next year. But having the trade deadline like it is, prevents that team right on the verge of a playoff birth,
from getting that final piece of the puzzle they need. I mean how many teams know if they will be a playoff contender or pretender after playing only 5 or 6 games?
