Only 1 October, but games take 2 Long to Play
The Rockies swept the D-backs and have waited close to a week and half to play and
that is a joke! On the other hand the Red Sox had to go the full seven games against Cleveland. Game 1 of the World Series
should have started Tuesday and the Red Sox could have still had Monday to rest.
My second problem with baseball is that the games are starting too
late in the evening. Why do these games have to begin at 8:00 or 8:30 PM eastern time? So your telling me that every 10 year old kid from Florida is getting the
OK from their parents to stay up and watch the game? Not bloody likely. In this day of technology, MLB can show the games on the internet (WITHOUT charging a fee) and still have the commercials in between innings so that all the execs at FOX/TBS, etc. will still be happy. MLB officials
better take notice before people start to turn their attention towards other sports. Plus this time, baseball cant rely on steroids & huge home run numbers to bring them back.
